North Country Hospital, a 25-bed critical access facility in Newport, VT, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in the PCU/MedSurg/Telemetry units. This is a night shift position with an every-other-weekend rotation. The nurse will provide comprehensive patient care, perform charge nurse duties, and float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities
- Deliver quality patient care in PCU, MedSurg, and Telemetry settings
- Perform charge nurse duties and function independently with minimal supervision
- Float to other departments based on facility needs
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Vermont or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU, MedSurg, or Telemetry experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications – required
- Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
- Strong critical thinking and communication skillsures
