Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric ICU (PICU) for a 13-week travel assignment at a leading children's hospital in Oklahoma City. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care to pediatric patients with complex medical conditions in a fast-paced ICU environment.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products safely.
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Monitor vital signs and intervene appropriately during changes in patient condition.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff.
- Minimum 1 year of RN PICU experience required.
- Level I Trauma pediatric experience required.
- CVICU and NICU experience preferred.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact (eNLC) License.
- BLS (AHA) required.
- PALS (AHA) required.
- Location: Oklahoma City, OK
- Shift: 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
- Contract: 13 Weeks
- Start Date: August 10, 2026
- End Date: November 7, 2026
