Job Title: Cath Lab Tech II (Cath/EP Lab)

Location: Grand Blanc
Facility: Henry Ford Genesys Hospital
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours / Week

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Schedule: 4 days per week (1 weekday off)

• 4 weekday night calls per month: 5 PM – 6:30 AM
• 1 weekend call per month:
  • Friday 5 PM – Monday 6:30 AM

Required Experience

• 1–2 years of Cath Lab or EP Lab experience
• Must be able to scrub for heart cath and interventional procedures
• Experience with cardiac cath, vascular, structural heart, and EP cases

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS

• RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
• RCES – Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) with Cath Lab experience

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Merge Hemo documentation system
• Strong scrub tech experience in Cath/EP lab

Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an Allied Health program such as:
  • Cardiovascular Technology
  • Radiologic Technology
  • Respiratory Therapy
  • Exercise Science
  • Cardiac or Vascular Sonography

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a sterile environment for extended periods
• Ability to wear lead apron
• Ability to assist with patient transfer and movement
