13 weeks Contract (possibility of extension)
$17- $18 per hour (Negotiable)

Job Description
- Draw blood from patients using venipuncture, capillary, or arterial collection methods.
- Ensure proper technique to minimize discomfort and avoid complications.
- Label specimens accurately with patient information and collection details.
- Verify patient identity according to hospital or lab protocols.
- Explain the procedure to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year on the job experience in venipuncture required.
- Previous computer experiences preferred.
Certifications and Licenses
- Driver's license and the ability to be insured by a HFMG Insurance Carrier.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
Education
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Completion of Medical Assistant or Certified Phlebotomy training program preferred.
