What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Technician position at Talent?
Our client is looking for a hands-on Lab Technician who's ready to take ownership and move fast! This is a fast-growing semiconductor company building connectivity products for AI infrastructure — and a 2024 Best Places to Work honoree in San Francisco.

Location: Onsite in San Jose, CA (5 days/week)
Day-to-day:
- Operating a manual probe station for DC and signal integrity measurements on PCBs
- Managing inventory end-to-end: purchasing, organizing, and forecasting consumables and peripherals
- Assembling, inspecting, and testing modules and subassemblies
- Supporting engineers with solder rework on high-density PCBAs
What you bring:
- 2 years in a hardware lab environment with probe station experience
- Associate's degree or equivalent in electronics, electrical, or computer engineering
- Self-starter mindset, strong attention to detail, and clear communication
- Experience with solder rework (0201s, 0402s, 0603s), schematic reading, bench instrument, and troubleshooting
