Summary:
The Laborer is responsible for supporting the manufacturing operation by safely operating machinery, hand tools and a clean, safe work environment.
Essential Functions:
- Assist the tool room by tightening fasteners with hand tools.
- Prepare work areas for production and tool room.
- Operate machinery in a safe manner as assigned.
- Assist shipping department by preparing skids and placing labels on containers prior to shipping.
- Assist in cleaning assigned areas of the production and tool room throughout the day and at the end of the shift.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- One year of related experience is preferred
- Experience safely operating machinery and hand tools
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, sit, bend and stand throughout each shift
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
