Overview:
The Program Director will supervise program progress and proposals, assist with seeking and obtaining grants, manage projects, and oversee budgets. This Director ensures that the organization's activities and programs are aligned with the vision and mission statements of the company.
Responsibilities for Program Director
- Manage the documentation of projects and monitor the websites.
- Manage request for proposals (RFP) processes, and oversee contractors/vendors for Community Health Worker activities
- Participate in the overall strategy and development of grant projects
- Provide programmatic leadership to Program/Project Managers with donors and other stakeholders
- Liaison directly with Project managers
- Provide management oversight and direction for all program operations with focus on operational optimization
- Conduct logistics audits, compliance reviews and program effectiveness and efficiency reviews
- Create reports and present recommendations to improve operations; establish core development standards, policies and procedures and maintain administrative/technical records
- Support and supervise community engagement activities
- Develop media and marketing tools through Facebook, website management, newsletters, and awareness projects
- Develop community partnerships to expand partnership opportunities and funding sources, elevate brand awareness and provide members with personal growth programs that increase participation
- Manage all aspects of grant performance and output including ensuring completion to set goals
- Manage grant budgets and personnel to ensure success
- Ensure quality assurance throughout the program process
- Develop cost-effective measurements to achieve exceptional business practices
- Adapt to changes in the market and respond to customer demands
- Maintain current knowledge on the market and industry trends
- Conduct research to further understand competitors
- Manage logistics and planning for events including but not limited to the Health Fair, Food drop/diaper drive, vaccination, voter registration and health education projects under the umbrella of CAFÉ Caring About Family Engagement.
- Oversee all community outreach programs and events. Be the central point of contact for communications, logistics and planning for all the various programs and projects
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 5 years in an advanced program management
- Supervisory experience
- PMI
