What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Account Manager position at Talent Tap?
Talent Tap is partnering with a growing full-service marketing agency to hire a Sales Account Manager (SAM) for their team. This position's focus is to maximize sales growth within existing accounts while also collaborating with Sales Executives to onboard and ultimately hand off new accounts as they are established. SAMs utilize all internal resources to ensure successful client projects.
Specific sales goals will be established around account growth and tracked accordingly through Salesforce. SAMs will have the ability to sell across all business units and collaborate as needed to maximize client support, ultimately maximizing sales. SAMs will also sell new opportunities through referrals and be expected to manage ongoing account growth plans for top-tier clients that have significant growth potential. All plans will be established with the VP, Business Development and reviewed regularly.
Expectations:
· Answer incoming sales phone calls for all business units on a rotating basis.
· Sales goals will be established utilizing historic sales data with the expectation of account growth of 5-20% (depending on account growth potential utilizing the ability to sell services across all business units.
· New business to be developed through referrals and specific account growth plans. Growth account plans to be established with CRO and tracked through Salesforce Campaigns.
· Monthly Sales Meetings including SAM's specific agenda, that will be attended by necessary team members. Meetings are scheduled on Mondays and Sales Executives attend for collaboration.
· Weekly Sales Reports to be submitted every Friday with new sales account activity.
· SAMs will be required to visit high growth potential clients twice per year. All visits and communications/tasks to be logged in Salesforce.
· All opportunities, win/loss data, contact/account data and sales activities to be logged in Salesforce and reported utilizing a custom SAMs specific dashboard.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications or related field preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- 3 years in a customer service or account management role, supporting a sales team.
- Working knowledge of print and digital advertising.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Sharepoint.
- Experience working in a CRM, Salesforce preferred.
- Knowledge of preflight and printing specifications preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as organizational capabilities are a must.
- Flexible team player who learns quickly, can work independently, has outstanding prioritization and time management skills, has a proven ability to multitask, and works well under pressure.
- Ability to maintain a fast pace and work with a sense of urgency.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
