We’re seeking a Systems Engineer II to join one of the premier programs within our Air & Space Defense Systems business unit. In this role, you’ll expand your expertise across requirements analysis, systems integration, and test validation — directly contributing to national defense missions.
🔧 What You’ll Do:
- Conduct systems analysis and define operational use cases
- Decompose and manage requirements, interfaces, and verification methods
- Support test program execution, regression testing, and technical reviews
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure mission success
🎯 What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM and a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Active and Transferable DOD TS (Top Secret)/SCI clearance
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: operations concept development;
requirements management; functional analysis/synthesis; interface definition and
- control; verification and validation
- Background in Satellite Command/Control, Mission Management, or Planning
- Familiarity with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, etc.)
🌟 Preferred Skills:
- Development experience on a government contract
- Knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle, roles and functions
- Good oral and written communication skills and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a team environment
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience working with requirements in DOORS or other requirements databases
- Experience working in DevOps and/or DevSecOps in an Agile development
environment
- Scripting knowledge (e.g.: Python)
Salary : $140,000 - $151,000
