Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Client. Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology.

Job Responsibilities:
- Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients.
- Fosters teamwork through effective communication.
- Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines.
- Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.
- Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.

- Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication.
- Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
- Ultrasound Sonographer experience.
- Graduate of an accredited sonography or radiography program.
- Registry-eligible candidates must be ARDMS registered in either Vascular Technology (RVT) or RDMS (Abdominal or OB/GYN) within 6 month of employment (RVT preferred first) and both RVT and RDMS within 12 months of employment.
- Third certification (Abdominal or OB/GYN) completed within 18 months of employment.
- Employees that provide breast imaging are required to obtain RDMS (Breast) certification within 24 months of achieved competency.
- Employees hired for a role specific to vascular sonography, who are not eligible to apply for Abdomen and OB/GYN certifications, are exempt from the requirement of obtaining these registries.
- BLS certified.
Salary : $60 - $65
