Required Certifications:

• CA Physical Therapist License

Job Duties:

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Adhere to regulations, codes, policies, and procedures for privacy and safety.
• Provide clinical supervision to assistants and aides, and serve as clinical instructor for students.
  
  

Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement individualized physical treatment programs.
• Document patient evaluations and tests per standards.
• Update the patient’s Plan of Care (POC) based on assessments.
• Coordinate patient care with other team members.
• Work flexible shifts and maintain compliance with department requirements.
  
  

Clerical:

• Prepare accurate documentation related to patient care.
• Perform general clerical tasks as needed.
  
  

Safety:

• Participate in quality improvement processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Inspect and use equipment according to guidelines.
  
  

Compliance:

• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Document services according to regulations.
• Complete continuing education requirements.
  
  

Education:

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
