Position Summary: We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to enhance and expand the security of our cloud and on-premises infrastructure. This role involves implementing security controls and tools, utilizing both standard and custom solutions to meet diverse requirements. As a key member of a high-impact security team, you will have the opportunity to lead initiatives across the organization, elevating the security standards of our infrastructure. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to drive alignment on standards, processes, and technologies used to secure our infrastructure platforms and tools. You will identify systemic opportunities for improvement, develop plans to address gaps, and collaborate with teams across the company to establish security baselines and controls. Automation and secure-by-default environments will be a focus, and you will be a trusted voice sharing your knowledge and expertise.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- 5 years of experience in technical program/product management, software engineering, or similar roles.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud and on-premises infrastructure, platforms, and security operations.
- 5 years of general cybersecurity experience.
- 3 years of experience in cloud and on-premises infrastructure and security operations, focusing on security configuration and tooling at scale.
- Experience with large network/security architecture ownership at a large service provider or cloud provider.
- Customer-facing experience supporting complex infrastructure products or solutions.
Qualifications:
- Years of Experience Required: 10 years of experience in the field.
- Degrees or certifications: A degree is preferred for this role.
- Best vs. Average: We seek candidates who can provide concrete examples of their work, particularly in implementation or OS cloud work, as this is a technical position.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Cloud Security
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Network Security/OS Server Security
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Identity and Access Management
