Job Description: SAP Project Manager – RISE with SAP

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager with RISE with SAP expertise to lead large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation and cloud migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP project and program management, proven experience delivering end-to-end RISE with SAP implementations, and expertise in SAP Activate methodology and S/4HANA transition strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex transformation programs, coordinating global cross-functional teams, engaging executive stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery within established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformation and RISE with SAP migration programs.
• Manage large-scale SAP implementation, modernization, and cloud migration initiatives.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, resource allocation, and delivery governance.
• Apply SAP Activate methodology, ASAP framework, and appropriate S/4HANA transition approaches, including Brownfield and Greenfield.
• Coordinate SAP application, infrastructure, cloud, security, integration, and business teams.
• Manage migration activities involving private cloud and hyperscaler cloud environments.
• Collaborate with technical teams on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Central Finance (CFIN), system integrations, and custom code remediation.
• Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans to executive stakeholders.
• Lead crisis management, issue resolution, and project recovery activities when required.
• Drive stakeholder alignment, change management, and delivery excellence across global teams.

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of overall IT/SAP project or program management experience.
• 3–5 years of experience leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation and cloud migration programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing at least one full-lifecycle RISE with SAP migration to a private cloud or hyperscaler environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and ASAP framework.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA transition strategies, including Brownfield and Greenfield implementations.
• Understanding of SAP BTP, Central Finance (CFIN), system integration landscapes, and custom code remediation.
• Excellent executive communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead global, cross-functional teams and manage complex transformation initiatives.
• Strong crisis management, problem-solving, and project recovery capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing enterprise-scale SAP transformation programs in complex organizational environments.
• Familiarity with SAP cloud architecture, migration planning, integration dependencies, and cutover management.
• Experience working with senior business leaders, technical teams, and external implementation partners.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
