Telemetry RNs monitor patients' ECG and heart rate activity, interpret telemetry data, and use findings to guide patient care decisions.
The RN is also responsible for participating in committees, surveys, and performance improvement initiatives, while adhering to the Texas Nurse Practice Act.

Job Requirements
Education
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma or Associate Degree)
- No previous experience required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
- CPR/BCLS
- ACLS (required before completion of orientation)
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification (required before completion of orientation)
- Professional appearance
- Ability to manage confidential information
- Strong clinical judgment and monitoring skills
- Able to interpret telemetry data
- Designated Driver: No
- OSHA Category: 1 - High Risk
