Your role will involve performing thorough and accurate assessments, demonstrating competent clinical skills, and providing appropriate nursing care.

• Clinical Skills: Engage in direct patient care activities, support patient care delivery, and demonstrate knowledge of emergency equipment and procedures.
• Documentation: Maintain complete and accurate documentation, assuming responsibility for documenting the nursing process and patient progress.
• Professionalism: Uphold professional practice responsibility, adhere to policies and procedures, and identify areas for clinical and professional growth.
• Patient Satisfaction: Respond professionally to patients, families, and co-workers, maintaining confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines.
• Safety: Follow National Patient Safety Goals, utilize safe transfer techniques, and ensure proper patient identification.
• Unit Specific: Demonstrate knowledge of surgical conditions, procedures, and equipment, individualizing patient care.
• Responsibility and Accountability: Prioritize patient care, contributing to the perioperative team.
• Patient Education and Chart Completion: Include patients and families in teaching, perform pre-operative and postoperative assessments and education.
• Duties Specific to PAT RN: Support timely completion of patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
