Required Qualifications

• CA RN License
• BLS Certification
• Previous travel experience
• EPIC experience required
• Wound care certification preferred
  
  

Job Accountabilities

Assessment and Planning of Patient Care

• Conduct patient assessments for wound care services.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to coordinate patient care plans.
• Streamline patient workflow and improve outcomes.
• Communicate care plans to co-workers and between shifts.
  
  

Provision of Patient Care

• Provide competent, compassionate, and cost-effective care.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Delegate tasks effectively based on guidelines and capabilities.
• Communicate treatments and activities clearly to patients and families.
• Ensure patient understanding using teach-back methods.
• Deliver care in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Protect patient confidentiality and health information.
• Stay current with advancements and best practices in acute care.

Evaluation of Patient Care

• Monitor interventions, assess therapies, and evaluate outcomes.
• Conduct ongoing education for patients and families.
• Reassess and document patient responses to care plans.
• Report safety or compliance concerns.
• Participate in safety event analysis.
• Document treatment information in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Develop and implement teaching and transition planning.
  
  

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
