Required Skills And Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant role.
• First-time travelers are welcome.
• Experience in hospital and pediatric settings.
• Proficiency in colostomy and ileostomy care and management.
• Skills in identifying and managing risk factors impacting skin integrity.
• Expertise in symptom management.
• Familiarity with ulcer risk assessment tools, including Braden scale assessment.
• Competence in wound and ulcer assessment and management.
• Ability to perform pressure ulcer staging (Stages 1 - IV).
• Experience with various wound treatments and dressings.
• Certifications required: BLS & WOCN.
  
  

Preferred Skills And Certifications

• Experience with ileal lavage and irrigation.
• Skills in using continence therapeutic devices.
• Knowledge of ileal pouches.
• Understanding of burns and nutritional status management.
• Experience with electrical stimulation for wound treatment.
• Certifications preferred: ACLS, WCC.
  
  

Job Details

• Shift: 40 hours per week, 8-hour days (08:00 - 17:00).
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks.
• No call, float, or weekend requirements.
• Patient Diagnoses: Wound vacs, ostomy care, and complex wound management.
• Special Procedures: Wound vacs and conservative debridement.
• Unit Systems: EPIC, SBAR.
• Scrubs: Navy (not provided).
