Key Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Experience with arterial lines and titrating vasoactive drips
• Proficiency in PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry, and dysrhythmia management
• Skills in rapid response, IV insulin protocols, and blood product administration
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
  
  

Job Details

• Target Ratios: 1:3-4
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 or 48 per week, 12 HR nights
• RTO: 7 days max
• Floating as needed to ICCU
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  
  

Patient Diagnoses

Care for patients with conditions such as respiratory distress, unstable hemodynamics, GI bleeds, and post-op complications. Ages range from adolescent to geriatric.

Special Procedures and Equipment

• Pressor drips: Cardizem, Nitro, Precedex, Cardene, Levophed, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Neo
• Equipment: Bedside telemetry, A-lines, BIPAP’s, chest tubes, trach’s
  
  

Additional Information

• Unit systems: Pyxis and Epic
• Scrubs: Navy, White, or a combination
• Hospital orientation in week one
• EKG testing required prior to start
