The position involves following clearly defined procedures to provide support to Obstetricians, surgical scrub techs, registered nurses, and Charge Nurses in the LDRP setting. The role requires the integration of education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to execute safe and precise treatment under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. Building confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers is essential through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures is required to ensure privacy and safety, aiming to deliver optimal patient care. Additionally, responsibilities may include mentoring and training students.
