Contract Details
- Duration: 13 to 26 weeks
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights (18:45 - 07:15)
- Hours: 36 Hours per week
- Floating: Required as needed, potentially every shift
- Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend)
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Accepts 1st time travelers
- Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring
- Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Sheath Removal
- Accessing ports, Blood Product Administration
- Central Line/care management, PICC line management
- Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone
- ACLS Certification
- Charge experience
- NIH Certification
- Patient Diagnoses: Congestive Heart Failure, Arrhythmias, Post cardiac Cath
- Special Procedures: Cardiac Drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine), Sheaths Pulls, TR Bands, Femstop
- Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
- Scheduling: Self, per the unit needs
- Unit Orientation: 24 hours
- Scrubs: Navy
- Contract staff will be assigned to work during catastrophic events or disasters
- Potential consolidation to the Centralized Office mid-contract
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start
- Interview by the nurse manager required before finalizing the offer
Salary : $43 - $46
