Position Overview
The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating nursing care, which includes direct patient care, patient and family education, and managing transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across various settings and throughout the continuum of care to address the needs of both patients and their families. The RN will operate within a professional practice model that emphasizes accountability for the planning, implementation, evaluation, and communication of all phases of nursing care for assigned patients. The American Nurses Association (ANA) Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice serve as the foundation for the RN's practice.
The RN provides leadership through roles such as preceptor, informal leadership, and quality improvement initiatives. The RN is responsible for delegating patient care based on skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal responsibility, and resource availability. Excellent communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to mentor and teach. The RN may also participate in committees or projects.

Skills
- Experience in Assisted Living and Short Term Rehab required.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
- Shift options: 6AM - 6PM or 6PM - 6AM
- Every 3rd weekend required
- 13-week assignment
Salary : $43 - $45
