What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology / Cardiology/CT Tech position at TALENT Software Services?
Novant Holiday RTO policy: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays or 4 out of 7 (10/31, 11/27, 11/28, 12/24, 12/25, 12/31, 1/1) *approval per unit.
RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
The expected start date is based on Novant’s schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week, and must be fully available with no other commitments, to accommodate any schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start.
Novant will confirm the final start date on the Tuesday prior to the start week.
REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years of experience required depending on trauma experience.
Traveler Experience: Unit REQUIRES Travel Experience, They WILL NOT Accept 1st Time Travelers
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
Skills: Work Setting Experience: Inpatient, ER, Adult ICU. General Skills Experience Required: IV Starts, PACS, Contrast. CT Procedure Experience Required: Abdomen, Pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, Musculoskeletal, CTAs.
Certs: BLS and ARRT. Must hold a CT registration specifically if ARRT certified.
PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Outpatient, Level I Trauma and NICU. Biopsies. Brain perfusion and Multiplanar Reconstruction.
JOB DETAILS:
Approximately 200 exams daily; Rooms: 4
36 hours can be offered.
Unit will accept contracts for 13-20 weeks!
Shift: 12 HR NIGHTS - Fri-Sun Weekends (18:00-06:30)
FLOAT Requirement: None.
WEEKEND Requirement: Fri-Sun Shift.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Equipment/Scanner Experience Required: Siemens.
UNIT SYSTEMS: EPIC, Visage PACS
SCHEDULING TYPE: Supervisor makes schedule, per Unit Needs.
UNIT ORIENTATION: At the CT Supervisor’s discretion.
SCRUBS: Royal Blue.
