Integrate your knowledge, theory, and practice to effectively execute procedures in assigned areas of the laboratory. With advanced training and education, you will maintain competence in all histology practices to perform pre-analytic and post-analytic procedures on biological specimens. Your work will aid healthcare providers in the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of diseases.
Your responsibilities may include specimen/material receipt, preparation, archival/retrieval, as well as validation testing and problem troubleshooting, as defined by department policies and procedures. As a member of the laboratory team, you will work cooperatively with physicians, clients, and staff to facilitate superior patient care and represent the laboratory positively by acting with courtesy, dignity, respect, and professionalism.

5x8s - 0600-1430, on call Tuesday through Saturday

Requirements
- ASCP-HT or ASCP-HTL certification
- Experience in a hospital clinical laboratory
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
