What are the responsibilities and job description for the CVOR Tech position at TALENT Software Services?
Duties
- Perform a variety of cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures, including but not limited to CABG, aortic aneurysm repair, and valve replacements.
- Assist in transplant surgeries and handle complex trauma cases.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and handling of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and universal protocols during procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations up to 2 weekends per month and provide coverage during holidays as needed.
- Proficiency in Instrument Processing, Aseptic Technique, Specimen Handling/labeling, and Sterilization/Disinfection.
- Experience with Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure.
- Familiarity with equipment such as Crash Carts and Case Carts.
- Preferred experience in Hybrid OR, Atrial Septal defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Atherectomy, Carotid artery stenting, and Vein stripping.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).
- Preferred experience in Teaching and Community Hospitals, and Level I Trauma centers.
- Certifications required: BLS, NBSTSA, or NCCT.
- Experience with charting systems such as Excellian/Epic is preferred.
- National certifications (NBSTSA or NCCT) and BLS are required.
Salary : $45 - $50
