What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT Tech position at TALENT Software Services?
Duties
- Perform CT and X-Ray procedures in both outpatient and emergency department settings.
- Handle special procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, and myelography.
- Operate in the operating room for cases such as pacemakers and orthopedic procedures.
- Utilize equipment including PACS and Philips systems.
- Administer and prepare contrast media and start peripheral IVs.
- Float between similar units as required.
- Experience with abdomen and pelvis imaging, including contrast procedures.
- Proficiency in adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department settings.
- Familiarity with special procedures such as CT arthrography, drainage, and vascular CTA.
- Knowledge of spine and musculoskeletal imaging, including cervical, lumbar, and thoracic areas.
- Ability to perform image display and post-processing, including multiplanar reconstruction.
- General skills in using portables, C-Arm, and conducting fluoroscopy studies.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.
- Experience in a community hospital setting is required.
- Certifications required: ARRT R, BLS, and Flouro Permit.

- Experience with charting systems such as Epic is an advantage.
