Typical Day in the Role

Purpose of the Team: This team supports industry solutions delivery as part of a professional services organization. The team collaborates with customers to enable the products they have purchased and provides consultation.

Key Projects: This role involves typical business management duties, including managing the rhythm of business, scheduling meetings, preparing content for meetings, and creating presentations for stakeholders. Responsibilities also include meeting with content holders before they present during meetings and sending reminders to ensure timely submission of materials. Additionally, the role manages weekly and monthly business reviews, prepares content, supports data review by confirming data accuracy, addresses gaps, and communicates with content owners.

  • Morning: Review delivery health metrics across the Americas and prepare updates for leadership forums.
  • Midday: Coordinate business rhythms such as Weekly Delivery Health Reviews or Monthly Business Reviews, engaging stakeholders across multiple regions.
  • Afternoon: Enhance reporting (e.g., Americas Leakage Report), optimize processes, and participate in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ad hoc tasks: Handle escalations, enable strategic initiatives, and occasionally present in leadership forums.

  • Years of Experience Required: 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Degrees or Certifications Required: None.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Rhythm of Business support.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with reviewing data in Excel and PowerBI, preferably with financial experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business management working directly with stakeholders.

Supports day-to-day operations and execution; reviews the rhythm of the business (ROB) and recommends process improvements. Contributes to the execution of business continuity plans during periods of change or special circumstances. Follows strategy execution best practices and contributes to the management of corporate strategy initiatives across functions by driving accountability for processes, supporting communications, and reporting to ensure alignment across groups. Supports the annual budget process under the direction of others. Utilizes networks, such as peers, to attain results; learns to grow and leverage networks effectively to inform work. Builds trust, encourages collaboration, and enables fact-based decision-making for leaders through the sharing of timely, accurate, and relevant information. Drives team culture and health by assessing organizational health and leading culture initiatives (e.g., Diversity and Inclusion, hiring, onboarding) in partnership with Human Resources (HR). Contributes to projects as needed to meet the changing business environment. Executes internal communications strategy and programs.

Experience

Strong background in business management, program coordination, or operations within a regional or global context.
