What you’ll be doing:
- Perform fabrication, assembly, integration, testing, and inspection of precision photonic and optical components
- Execute technical procedures using detailed engineering drawings and work instructions
- Work with machining tools, optical equipment, soldering systems, and precision lab instrumentation
- Support calibration, preventative maintenance, and equipment reliability activities
- Assist with optical fiber splicing, mechanical builds, photonic circuit assembly, and inspection processes
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant lab environments
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to meet schedule, quality, and performance expectations
What they’re looking for:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of relevant technical experience, OR Associate degree with 2 years of related experience
- Hands-on experience in assembly, machining, manufacturing, electronics, optics, or mechanical systems
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Experience working with precision equipment and detailed procedures
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required
- Strong attention to detail and technical aptitude
