We are looking for an IP Transactional Attorney with 5 years of experience to join a top-ranked boutique law firm and handle IP-heavy transactional work across licensing, MSAs, and corporate deals. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity to grow your own practice on a highly profitable platform with significant origination upside, while supporting a nationally recognized corporate transactional practice.
What will you be doing?
Handling transactional IP work including licensing, MSAs, and IP rights transfers
Supporting corporate transactional practice with IP due diligence in M&A and secured loan financings
Advising on copyright and trademark rights across media (music, movies, short-form video, books)
Managing trademark clearance, TTAB proceedings, and copyright/trademark claim letters
Building and growing your own book of business with firm marketing support and flexible billable targets (1,600 hours)
Key Requirements
5-7 years of IP transactional experience (not purely copyright/trademark registration — must be transactional)
Substantial experience in licensing, IP-heavy transactions, and technology/software licensing
Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated ability to develop client relationships
Privacy law expertise is a strong plus and highly valued
Salary : $250,000 - $300,000
