Position Overview
We are seeking a Founding Account Executive for the US market as the first sales hire in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment. This role will own end-to-end new business development and play a key part in shaping the US go-to-market strategy for a technical product used by engineering and design professionals.
The US market represents the company’s largest growth opportunity, and this role will directly influence how the product is positioned, sold, and scaled. You will work closely with leadership, product, and solutions engineering teams to drive revenue and establish a strong customer base.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own New Business (Full Sales Cycle Ownership)
Own US new business revenue including pipeline generation, conversion, ACV, and sales cycle management
Run inbound leads and outbound prospecting campaigns across email, phone, and LinkedIn
Conduct discovery calls and manage commercial aspects of demos with support from Solutions Engineers
Manage stakeholder mapping, procurement processes, and deal negotiations
Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene (HubSpot or equivalent)
Stay aligned with product roadmap to effectively position future value
2. Adapt and Build US Sales Motion
Leverage existing international sales playbook and adapt for the US market
Continuously refine messaging and approach based on wins/losses
Collaborate with marketing to improve lead quality and conversion
Provide feedback on US buyer behavior and market differences
3. Sales Operations & Execution Excellence
Operate within existing CRM, marketing, and sales systems
Leverage tools, automation, and agents to improve efficiency
Ensure disciplined forecasting and pipeline management
4. Scale Impact as Team Grows
Help shape onboarding and ramping of future sales hires
Contribute to building a high-performance sales culture
Act as a senior individual contributor as the team expands

Required Qualifications
5–12 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales
Proven success in full-cycle new business sales (inbound and outbound)
Experience selling technical products to technical buyers
Strong understanding of CRM systems (HubSpot or similar)
Highly data-driven with strong forecasting and pipeline management skills
Prior experience as early sales hire or founding sales team member preferred

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in construction tech, AEC, or design software
Experience selling into engineering firms or technical stakeholders
Background in high-velocity SaaS sales environments

Salary : $140,000 - $180,000
