This role is for that attorney.
A respected estate and elder law practice in Watchung, New Jersey is looking for an Associate Elder Law Attorney who has spent at least five years doing this specific work. Not general practice. Not adjacent experience. Elder law and estate planning. Medicaid planning. Guardianships. Trust administration. The real work that protects vulnerable seniors and the families who love them.
You will work directly alongside the firm's founder handling sophisticated estate planning, Medicaid spend-down strategies, guardianships, will contests, trust litigation and elder care crises while supervising paralegals and independently managing complex client matters from day one.
What you need to bring:
- Active New Jersey attorney license in good standing
- 5 or more years of direct Estate Planning and Elder Law experience
- Hands on experience drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney and healthcare directives
- Experience managing Medicaid planning, guardianship and estate administration matters
- Elder law litigation and crisis management experience strongly preferred
- Direct elder care advocacy experience strongly preferred
- LL.M. in Elder Law or Estate Planning strongly preferred
- Ability to work full time onsite in Watchung, New Jersey
- Attorneys with primarily general practice backgrounds will not be considered
Salary : $75,000 - $115,000
