Based in the Bay Area, Southern California, the New York Tri-State area, or near a major metro airportOur client, an e-commerce and logistics software startup, is seeking Customer Trainers to help onboard, educate, and empower grocery partners adopting their platform. As an early member of the Training team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring store teams feel confident, supported, and excited about using the system. This is a highly customer-facing role for someone who loves teaching, thrives in dynamic environments, and is energized by hands-on work with users in the field.What You'll DoLead engaging trainings: Deliver clear, practical, and hands-on training sessions for new and existing customers both virtually and onsite.Adapt to every learner: Tailor your teaching style to a wide range of audiences, from tech-savvy users to first-time digital adopters.On-site support: Travel to customer locations to run go-live trainings, troubleshoot in real time, and ensure smooth adoption during launch.Empower customers: Build trust through patient, empathetic guidance and reinforce best practices that set teams up for long-term success.Improve continuously: Collect customer feedback and share insights with Onboarding and Product teams to enhance training and overall experience.Enhance materials: Help refine training decks, scripts, and user guides to ensure content is accurate, clear, and grounded in real customer needs.Collaborate cross-functionally: Stay aligned with Customer Success, Onboarding, and Product on feature updates and user feedback.Travel flexibly: Primarily support customers in the Bay Area, Southern California, or the Tri-State area, with additional travel as needed.What Were Looking For3 to 5 years in customer training, onboarding, implementation, or similar rolesExperience delivering both in-person and virtual trainingsBackground in grocery, restaurant, retail tech, or SaaS requiredComfortable in a startup or scrappy, fast-moving environmentExperience with POS systems (e.g., Toast) is a plusFamiliarity with CRM systems and learning toolsStrong communication, patience, and customer empathy
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
