Location: Long Island City, New York
Salary: $250,000–$300,000 per year

What You'll Lead
Estimating for hard bids, negotiated work, and design-build opportunities.
Bid planning, estimating reviews, bid-day strategy, subcontractor evaluations, and final pricing.
Training, coaching, and development of the estimating team.
Evaluation of potential projects in collaboration with business development.
Subcontractor and supplier relationships, post-bid buyouts, and cost-saving or value engineering opportunities.
What You'll Bring
15–20 years of estimating or construction project management experience, including heavy/highway construction, civil site work, and public works in the New York City area.
Experience leading and developing an estimating team.
A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong cost analysis, bid pricing, and subcontractor negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines.
Preferred: Experience with HCSS HeavyBid, B2W Estimate, and Bluebeam.
