We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Associates to join our team in Commerce.
This role focuses on the core logistics of our operation, primarily picking, packing, and preparing shipments. You will be cross-trained across multiple departments to ensure a flexible and efficient warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick items according to orders and ensure all quantities are verified before packing.
- Palletizing: Re-box products as needed and palletize them securely for transport.
- Equipment Operation: Use a wrap machine to secure pallets and obtain accurate dimensions and weights per pallet for shipping records.
- Quality Control: Maintain high attention to detail to ensure the correct products are shipped in perfect condition.
- Cross-Training: Participate in training across various warehouse functions to support team needs.
Requirements
- Communication: Must be able to read and write in English to process orders and shipping labels.
- Bilingual Skills: English needed proficiency in Spanish is a strong plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move boxes as required for palletizing.
- Reliability: Strong attendance record and a hardworking, "lending hand" attitude.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with FedEx or UPS shipping software/invoicing.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
