We are seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined Entry-Level Industrial Mechanical Technician with basic electrical knowledge to join our maintenance team in the City of Commerce. Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Overtime as needed)
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 / hr (DOE)
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical maintenance, assembly, and repairs on industrial machinery, conveyor systems, motors, and engines.
- Safely operate basic hand tools and power tools to perform daily equipment servicing.
- Assist with basic electrical troubleshooting (checking connections, basic wiring, and components) alongside the primary mechanical duties.
- Execute routine preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Mechanical Background: Strong practical experience working with mechanical equipment, hand tools, power tools, and industrial machinery/motors.
- Electrical Skills: Basic understanding of electrical fundamentals/wiring in an industrial setting.
- Language: Bilingual (English / Spanish) required.
- Screening: Must be able to pass a background check and E-Verify authorization.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime as needed (Schedule: M-F 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM OT).
