ROLE :: Sales ManagerLOCATION :: Ponchatoula, LA (Remote with travel)SALARY :: Fulltime salary benefits  Additional Information:Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Remote eligible for the right candidate; field-based roleMust be willing to spend over 50% of time in the fieldExtensive U.S. travel plus occasional international travelKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Managing the Sales for  Gears & Winches in North and South AmericaCommercial and technical negotiations with customer procurementDevelop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targetsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities and marketsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partnersWork closely with the inside sales team on all sales-related operational tasks, such as preparing quotes, following up on invoices, and similar activitiesMonitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordinglyPrepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysesCollaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging and offeringsNegotiate contracts and close deals with customersEnsure customer satisfaction and manage post-sales follow-upRepresent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings QUALIFICATIONS:Strong technical understanding and a high affinity for technology, ideally with experience in drive technologyStructured and independent working style with a willingness to take on responsibilityProfessional experience in technical sales is desirable3–5 years of successful outside sales experience, ideally in drive technologyBachelor’s degree in a related field preferredClean driving record and valid driver’s licenseWillingness to spend over 50% of the time in the field, including international travelTeam player with excellent communication skillsCustomer-oriented mindset and professional interaction with clientsProficient in MS Office; experience with Sage is an advantage
