What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Engineer - Natural Gas position at Talent Match Recruiting?
Serve as the district engineer for one Midwest district, leading natural gas design, reviews, and capital project engineering. Work independently, solve complex problems, and support field/operations teams.
What You’ll Do
- Lead engineering for your assigned district
- Design/review meter sets, services, stations, and gas infrastructure
- Oversee capital asset installation
- Support field teams review non‑engineering work
- Travel to project sites (~1x/week)
Basic Qualifications
- B.S. Engineering (ABET) or M.S. in Engineering
- 6 years natural gas engineering OR 5 years PE
- Civil (structural), Mechanical, Petroleum, or related discipline
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CFR 192, ANSI, ASTM, API
- Strong gas system design utility experience
- Project management familiarity
- Clear communication teamwork skills
Working Conditions
- Hybrid after onboarding (Downtown Cincinnati)
- Must live within reasonable commute
- Regular district travel required
