California State University, Fullerton | Associated Students, Inc. (ASI)

$160,000–$180,000 comprehensive benefits

Status: A full-time onsite position

Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) is a dynamic, student-governed auxiliary organization within the California State University (CSU) system. ASI plays a central role in shaping the student experience—delivering programs, services, campus facilities, and leadership opportunities that impact both daily campus life and long-term student success.

The organization operates a broad and expanding portfolio, including student programming, campus facilities, and a growing investment in wellness and student support services. ASI employs more than 400 individuals, including professional staff and a large, highly dynamic student workforce. This dual workforce model is core to its mission.

Operating within a regulated, multi-stakeholder CSU environment, ASI is at a critical inflection point, investing in its future and evolving its approach to people, leadership, and organizational effectiveness.

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President/Executive Director and serving on the executive leadership team, the CHRO will act as a trusted advisor, culture steward, and change leader, bringing clarity, structure, and forward-looking thinking to how ASI develops and manages its workforce and supports a healthy, productive environment.

  • Build and lead a high-performing HR team and scalable service model

The Ideal Candidate

  • 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including executive-level roles
  • Demonstrated success building or transforming HR functions
  • Experience operating in complex, multi-stakeholder or regulated environments
