In this role, you will manage the loan closing process from approval through funding, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of the loan closing process from approval to funding.
- Review loan files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal guidelines.
- Prepare and review closing packages, settlement statements, and funding documents.
- Communicate with borrowers, title companies, attorneys, escrow agents, and internal teams to facilitate timely closings.
- Verify conditions have been satisfied prior to funding.
- Coordinate wire transfers and funding requests with accounting or treasury teams.
- Review title commitments, insurance policies, and payoff statements.
- Ensure all executed documents are received, signed correctly, and stored appropriately.
- Resolve documentation discrepancies and funding issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records within the loan origination system (LOS).
- Meet closing deadlines while providing exceptional customer service.
- Stay current on lending regulations, compliance requirements, and company policies.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Loan Closer, Loan Processor, Mortgage Closer, or similar lending role.
- Experience with residential, commercial, or private lending transactions preferred.
- Strong understanding of loan documentation and closing procedures.
- Knowledge of title, escrow, and funding processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and prioritize deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and loan origination systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build relationships with borrowers and third-party vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for a private lender or hard money lender.
- Familiarity with commercial real estate lending transactions.
- Knowledge of TRID, compliance requirements, and closing disclosures.
- Experience coordinating wire transfers and funding logistics.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
