Job Description

This driven Product Manager, who reports directly to our CEO, will take ownership for our radar-based industrial sensor product. Specific tasks include:


• The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of product strategy, planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including defining the product vision, constructing product roadmaps. Develop, manage and own product strategy and product, technology and supplier roadmaps.


• Develop and manage internal process for maintaining, and supporting field operations involving use of the product


• Participate in introduction of the product to the customers through demonstrations and field setups


• Engage customers to identify additional features and capabilities needed


• Manage design, development and testing of additional add-on products/features for the product line


• Develop metrics to measure quality of the product and its durability and sustainability in the field.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience as a product manager in a related field.
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering discipline
• Strong experience in project management.
• Strong mechanical engineering background is required.
• Use of CAD tools such as Solidworks and E-PDM is required.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience involving managing product lines that involve Electronics is a strong plus
• Understanding of Electromagnetics, Radar is a plus
• Understanding of ISO 9001 principles is a plus.
• Any experience in building systems for heavy manufacturing plants such as glass, steel and cement is a strong plus.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with skills and experience.
