We're partnering with an established specialty mechanical contractor to find an experienced Commercial Project Manager.
The Role
This is a position owning end-to-end delivery of complex HVAC construction projects. You'll manage commercial, industrial, and institutional HVAC systems while working hand-in-hand with owners, general contractors, engineers, and field crews to deliver high-quality, code-compliant installations.
What You'll Do
- Run commercial HVAC construction projects from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout
- Drive project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Coordinate both design-build and plan-spec projects
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, field supervisors, and internal project teams
- Handle drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications
- Maintain compliance with mechanical codes, safety standards, and QA/QC requirements
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, engineers, and general contractors
What You'll Bring
- 5 years as a Commercial HVAC or Mechanical Project Manager
- Solid working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems (VAV, VRF/VRV, BAS/controls)
- A track record managing large-scale commercial construction or mechanical contracting projects
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, fast-track schedules, and cross-functional teams
- Comfort with project management, scheduling, and estimating software
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
