Job Description
Talent Groups is seeking an experienced UX Manager to lead a team of up to five UX designers while remaining actively involved in design execution. This is a player coach role that combines people leadership with hands-on UX strategy, research, and design.
The UX Manager will mentor and develop the UX team while partnering with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver intuitive, customer-centered digital experiences. This role will establish UX standards, drive innovation, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of up to five UX designers while remaining hands-on.
- Recruit, hire, coach, and manage team performance and career development.
- Foster a collaborative, user-centered design culture.
UX Strategy
- Define and execute the UX vision across digital products.
- Lead user research, usability testing, and Design Thinking initiatives.
- Establish UX standards, best practices, and design governance.
- Present UX strategy and recommendations to executive leadership.
Product Experience
- Drive UX across web, mobile, kiosks, and other digital platforms.
- Design seamless customer journeys that improve engagement and satisfaction.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and business teams to deliver intuitive digital experiences.
- Leverage customer feedback, analytics, and UX trends to continuously improve the user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 10 years of UX design experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
- Experience managing and developing UX designers.
- Proven ability to lead UX strategy while remaining hands-on with design execution.
- Expertise in user research, information architecture, interaction design, usability testing, prototyping, and design systems.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successful digital product design and UX leadership.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with tactical execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting B2B and B2C digital products preferred.
- Experience leading digital transformation or enterprise customer experience initiatives is a plus.
