Talent Groups is seeking a Supply Chain Sales and Carrier Representative to join a high growth third party logistics environment. This role combines new business development with carrier procurement and operations, offering the opportunity to build both a book of business and a strong carrier network.
About the Role
This position operates within a third party logistics environment and supports a full range of transportation and supply chain solutions. You will work across both sales and execution, helping customers move freight efficiently while growing your portfolio of clients and carriers.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
• Prospect and develop new customer relationships
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Meet with prospective and existing clients
• Build and manage a sales pipeline through consistent outreach and follow up
• Partner with internal teams to develop pricing strategies and customized solutions
• Close new business and maintain long term client relationships
Carrier Sales and Operations
• Source, qualify, and onboard carrier partners
• Negotiate rates and secure capacity for shipments
• Build and maintain strong carrier relationships through daily communication
• Monitor market trends and carrier availability
• Collaborate with account executives and operations teams to ensure successful execution
• Manage shipments and resolve issues in a fast paced environment
Qualifications
• 1 to 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or sales, with 3PL experience preferred
• Interest or experience in both sales and operations
• Competitive mindset with a strong drive to succeed
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Solid problem solving and strategic thinking abilities
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
