Job Overview:
We need an experienced Enterprise Storage Engineer who has strong hands-on knowledge of HPE Alletra storage systems. The role involves managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting storage platforms to ensure high performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support HPE Alletra storage systems (6000/9000 series).
- Handle storage provisioning, monitoring, upgrades, and decommissioning.
- Troubleshoot advanced storage issues (L3 support).
- Work with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams.
- Monitor performance and capacity using HPE Infosight and OneView.
- Ensure data protection, replication, and disaster recovery setups.
- Maintain clear documentation for systems and processes.
- Support audits, compliance, and capacity planning.
- Automate routine tasks using scripts.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with HPE Alletra, NimbleOS, and OneView.
- Good understanding of SAN/NAS, FC, iSCSI, NFS, SMB, and zoning.
- Knowledge of Brocade/Cisco SAN switches.
- Experience with Infosight for monitoring.
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Familiar with VMware/Hyper-V.
- Understanding of backup and disaster recovery.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- HPE certifications are a plus.
