We are seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Receptionist / Shipping & Receiving / Facilities Coordinator to support daily operations at our research facility. This role will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and vendors while managing incoming and outgoing shipments and providing general facilities support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to multitask, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- 2 years of experience in reception, shipping/receiving, facilities, or administrative support role.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift packages up to 40 lbs.
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, shipping systems)
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including receiving, logging, distributing, packaging, and preparing shipping documentation.
- Coordinate shipments with internal teams and external carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, freight).
- Serve as the front desk contact by greeting visitors, managing visitor check-in, badges, and directing calls.
- Assist with general facilities support, vendor coordination, office organization, and workplace upkeep.
Salary : $20 - $22
