PART-TIME / Tuesdays only, 8 hours, onsite in the West Loop - Chicago Illinois 60607.
Contract - W2 Employee of Talent Groups.
Duration: thru December 2025
Our client is seeking a Paralegal to support their internal legal team by processing and responding to letters of attorney representation/preservation of evidence notices and various other tasks as needed and as time allows.
Responsibilities:
• Organizing and managing documents
• Calling in claims to a third-party claims center
• Drafting form response letters
• E-mailing insurance carriers and franchisees regarding the letters of representation/preservation of evidence notices
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program preferred, or a combination of education and/or experience
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
• Excellent organization skills
• Attention to detail
• Legal research and investigation skills
• Ability to follow direction and procedures
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to prioritize workload and assignments
