What are the responsibilities and job description for the Epidemiologist position at Talent Groups?
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Epidemiologist to lead epidemiologic data analyses in support of both therapies in development and marketed products within our nephrology portfolio. This role focuses on evidence-based medicine (EBM) and outcomes research, applying observational study methods to evaluate medical interventions and patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Advanced degree (MS, MPH, or PhD) in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or related field required.
- Additional training in health economics, outcomes research, epidemiology, health services research, or direct analytics experience in HEOR, Data Management vendors, Pharma, or Medical Device companies is highly desirable.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree OR 1 years with a Doctoral degree.
- Strong expertise in SAS programming and statistical analysis.
- Experience in designing and executing observational research studies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and manage complex projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for internal and external scientific communication.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
