Epic BI Cogito/Clarity/Caboodle Developer/Architect

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare BI & Analytics Consultant to assess, modernize, and help define the long-term reporting and analytics strategy for a complex healthcare environment. This individual will serve as both a strategic advisor and hands-on technical leader, partnering closely with operational, revenue cycle, and technical stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience performing Epic BI assessments within healthcare organizations and strong expertise across Epic Caboodle, Clarity, Cogito, Snowflake, and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current BI and analytics ecosystem, including Epic reporting architecture, data flows, governance, and reporting processes
• Evaluate and recommend best practices for enterprise reporting structures, data architecture, and analytics delivery models
• Develop a long-term reporting strategy and scalable resourcing model to support future growth and operational needs
• Partner with operations leadership, revenue cycle stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements and validate reporting priorities
• Translate complex business and clinical workflows into actionable reporting and analytics solutions
• Design and help implement modern BI infrastructure leveraging Epic Caboodle, Clarity, Cogito, Snowflake, and Power BI
• Support development of dashboards, data models, and reporting assets, including integration of legacy Snowflake-based reporting solutions
• Provide guidance on BI governance, data stewardship, standards, and best practices
• Assess current-state organizational capabilities and recommend staffing, support, and operational models for a sustainable analytics program
• Act as both a strategic advisor and hands-on contributor as needed during early implementation and stabilization efforts

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Proven experience conducting Epic BI or analytics assessments within healthcare organizations
• Deep expertise with:
  • Epic Caboodle
  • Epic Clarity
  • Epic Cogito
  • Snowflake
  • Power BI
• Strong understanding of healthcare operational reporting and revenue cycle workflows, particularly Professional Billing (PB)
• Experience working within complex multi-entity or shared-service healthcare environments
• Demonstrated ability to build enterprise reporting strategies and BI roadmaps
• Hands-on experience designing and developing reporting solutions and analytics infrastructure
• Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering capabilities across executive, operational, and technical teams
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences
