Salary range: $170k to $190k a year
A well-established DFW client is actively seeking an experienced CyberSecurity Architect to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity based onsite in Arlington, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for designing secure enterprise architecture solutions, aligning them with cybersecurity and IT standards, and contributing to the protection and resilience of critical systems across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure enterprise architecture solutions aligned with cybersecurity and IT standards.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to proposed solutions to ensure compliance with security frameworks.
- Communicate security concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and business teams aligned by business units.
- Deliver technical cybersecurity requirements for projects at both business and IT levels.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats, technologies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- 7–10 years of overall experience, including 2–5 years in a cybersecurity architecture-focused role.
- Strong background in cloud security (AWS preferred, Azure acceptable), infrastructure architecture, and zero trust frameworks.
- Proven ability to assess architectural risks, conduct threat profiling, and implement compensating controls.
- Experience with regulatory environments—preference for backgrounds in Financial Services, Insurance, or other highly regulated industries.
- Deep knowledge of security controls and their application through configuration, technology, and architectural design.
- Strong ability to assess and close gaps in architecture with risk-based solutions.
- Broad technical understanding of modern security platforms and technologies.
