Key Responsibilities
- Partner with internal requestors to gather, clarify, and validate project requirements to ensure deliverable outcomes
- Perform field inspections of equipment and systems to determine project scope, required materials, labor, and execution plans
- Coordinate schedules across multiple projects and workstreams to ensure timely project completion
- Translate engineering designs and technical requirements into actionable plans for site teams and third-party contractors
- Manage and maintain project schedules, execution timelines, and progress tracking
- Define and procure materials needed for equipment upgrades, modifications, and installations
- Prepare detailed scope of work documents for third-party vendors, including engineering design and field service work
- Oversee and monitor field execution performed by contractors to ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all solutions align with site specifications, safety standards, and applicable code requirements
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
- Experience working in chemical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of Federal Drug Administration (FDA) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies
- Familiarity with OSHA Code of Federal Regulations 1910.119 related to Process Safety Management (PSM) for highly hazardous chemicals
- Strong project planning, organizational, and coordination skills
- Experience managing third-party contractors and vendor relationships
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, maintenance, and safety teams
