Key Responsibilities
- Conduct criminal background checks for the public.
- Process criminal record expungement orders received from the court system.
- Process Permit to Carry applications and Security Guard License applications.
- Enter and update criminal case dispositions, warrants, restraining orders, and no-contact orders.
- Process fingerprint-based national criminal history checks using specialized systems.
- Respond to inquiries from the public via phone and in person.
- Process requests from courts, judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement agencies.
- Coordinate with police departments regarding warrants and court orders.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Monitor security cameras for agency facilities.
- Perform additional administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
